Foriegn Policy and the War in Iraq

It’s time to end the majority of the military action in Iraq. Our military involvement in Iraq, one of the most serious failed foreign policies in the last century, has damaged our position globally and created enormous barriers to foreign policy. Security in the Middle-East is critically important but our present military strategy in Iraq is destabilizing and damaging our ability to make progress in the region.
Bob Abboud will demand political solutions be pursued and that the Iraqi government take control of its own future, leaving our military strong and ready to respond should it be needed elsewhere. This is the best way to support our soldiers. More importantly Bob will back efforts to once again involve the world community as partners in efforts to stabilize troubled areas. Bob Abboud believes in the strongest and most technically advanced, well trained military, and the power of the office of the President to execute military action. But he will fight to never allow any President to exceed their authority in committing US military forces.
